The Beauty of the Paper Copy

I know everyone’s gone digital nowadays, but very recently i had a serious awakening.  I got a virus on my computer, similar to one I’ve had before which caused a lot of data loss.  It got me to thinking – my gedcom file is backed up on Genes Reunited, but the only copies of census reports and BMD indexes I have are stored locally on my computer.  It would be easy enough to find all this data again, but easier still just to print it all off and store it in a file or two.  The problem is there will be a LOT of printing and very limited amounts of motivation and attention.  Still, whilst I’ve been going through my tree looking for things I’ve not printed off yet, I’ve taken time-out to find the dates for people I don’t have yet so I’m still building my tree, albeit a bit slower!
